Highlights
What makes this tour special

A medium-sized group and 8 ½ full days of touring allow for a slower pace with plenty of time for learning and personal devotion.

All the key sites from Jesus’ life – Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Galilee, Samaria, Jerusalem, and Emmaus – are done in mostly chronological order. Plus, a fun day exploring the area of the Dead Sea, including a “swim” in its salty water.

Lots of special activities that many other tours don’t include:

  • visits to the recently excavated archeological sites of Einot Amitai (stone purity vessel factory) and El Araj (Bethsaida)
  • an authentic Biblical-style meal at the open-air museum of Nazareth Village
  • an excursion to “the other side” of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus’ cast out a man’s Legion of demons into a herd of swine
  • the Samaritan Museum and Jacob’s Well near Nablus
  • lessons about the history of the Tabernacle at Tel Shiloh
  • and the beautiful Chagall stained-glass windows of the Twelve Tribes at Hadassah Hospital.

Meeting with Free Methodist Church missionaries will help us understand the joys and challenges of local Christian believers, the “living stones” of Israel and Palestine.
