Dear Friends, At St John, we strive to learn, live and lead in God’s love. We often talk about understanding the context where we live God’s love into being. One fantastic way to grow your faith is by walking in the very steps of Jesus. I invite you to prayerfully consider traveling with my family and a group from St John, Bellville in June 2024 as we walk together in the Holy Land.  Encounter the stories of Jesus up close and in person. You will see for yourself the sites that we read about in the Bible and learn about in Sunday School. We will visit Jesus’ childhood home in Nazareth, we will see the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus called his disciples. We will Pray at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, wade in the water at the place of Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River and visit locations in Jerusalem that mark Jesus’ journey to the cross and empty Easter tomb. You’ll see it all.
