You are invited to join faculty and students from Wartburg Theological Seminary in a journey to a land of ancient wonders and vibrant culture. Egypt is home to the Pyramids of Giza, the majestic Nile River, and many ancient temples, as well as desert landscapes, bustling bazaars, and Red Sea beaches. Our travels include a visit to St Catherine’s Monastery on Mt Sinai, the Pyramids of Giza, and landmark churches of Coptic Christianity including the Hanging Church and the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus in Cairo (associated with the Holy Family during their journey through Egypt). We will travel alongside a group from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, giving our group a richer experience of traveling together with Lutheran church students and leaders across our ELCA seminaries.
