Eclipse Over the Nile: Egypt 2027
Witness history under the shadow of the sun.
In August 2027, Egypt will host one of the most extraordinary celestial events of our lifetime — the longest total solar eclipse in over a century. Join us for an unforgettable journey that blends this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle with the timeless wonders of Ancient Egypt.
Our adventure begins in Cairo, where the mighty Pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the treasures of the Egyptian Museum set the stage for a journey through history. From there, we fly south to Luxor — the ancient city of Thebes — to embark on a 4-night luxury Nile cruise.
Sail the storied river, stopping to explore legendary sites such as Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, and Philae Temple. Along the way, you’ll witness Egypt’s timeless landscapes drift by — palm groves, fishing boats, and golden desert horizons.
The highlight comes in Luxor, where we’ll experience the total solar eclipse in the path of maximum totality — an awe-inspiring 6 minutes and 23 seconds when day turns to night, the stars emerge, and the ancient land is bathed in otherworldly twilight.
With expert guides, carefully planned viewing arrangements, and the magic of the Nile as our backdrop, this is more than a tour — it’s a moment in time you’ll carry forever.
