Day 1, Apr 15, Beginning of Our Journey - Departure from Orlando, FL
• Depart on your overnight flight - Meals are served on board

Day 2, Apr 16, Arrival in Tel Aviv – Jaffa – Transfer to Hotel in Tel Aviv

  • Welcome to the Land of your Bible! We arrive in Tel Aviv, upon arrival we will meet our representative who will assist us through customs, then we will meet our local guide and driver.

  • The only stop for today will be Jaffa (time permitting). We head towards the Mediterranean Sea to Jaffa.

  • Transfer to Negev to enjoy the tent experience in the desert.

  • Dinner and overnight at Kfar Hanokdim in the Judean Desert. 

Day 3, Apr 17, 2023 (Monday): Masada – Ein Gedi – Qumran – Tiberias

  • We begin our day visiting Masada the fortress built by King Herod the Great and made famous by the Zealots in 73/74 AD with the standoff against the Romans. We visit the fortress and see the ruins that are considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We take a cable car onto the mountain.

  • We leave Masada and continue to Ein Gedi. We visit Ein Gedi, an oasis in the desert where the meeting between David and King Saul took place (I Samuel 24) and where some of the psalms were written by David. 

  • We proceed to Qumran. We visit Qumran, the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered, and the buildings that formed the Essenes public center. 

  • Proceed to the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee. 

 Day 4, Apr 18, 2023 (Tuesday): Sea Of Galilee – Capernaum – Mount of Beatitudes –  Baptismal Site 

  • After breakfast. We begin our day with a sail on the Sea of Galilee on a replica of a boat from Jesus’ time. We will dock in Ginosar where we will visit the ancient boat museum, containing a 2000-year an old fishing boat which is a good example of what the boats looked like in Jesus’ time. After the boat ride, we drive to Capernaum.

  • We will visit Capernaum, the hometown of Jesus as described by the Gospel, and also Jesus’ Galilean ministry base. There we will see the house of Peter’s mother-in-law and the ancient synagogue where many of Jesus’ teachings took place. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes where we enjoy its enchanting gardens and reflect on Jesus’ teachings of the Sermon on the Mount. Passing through Tabgha, visit the Church of St Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus appeared to his disciples for the third time after the Resurrection. Depart for Yardenit. Visit Yardenit Baptismal Site where you will get a chance to renew baptismal vows. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5, Apr 19, 2023 (Wednesday):  Nazareth – Megiddo – Mt. Carmel – Caesarea Maritima – Tiberias

  • After breakfast, drive to Nazareth. Visit the Church of the Annunciation built over the house of Mary where the Angel appeared to Mary announcing to her that she is going to be with a child calling him Immanuel. Visit the Upper Basilica and archaeological museum to see the remains of Nazareth from the time of Jesus.

  • Visit Tel Megiddo “Armageddon” Along with our visit, we would see the Solomon city gate, stables, and palaces from the times of Ahab, a high place, and the impressive water system dating to the 9th century BC.

  • Drive to Mount Carmel. Visit Mount Carmel, Muhraqa – The Place of Fire, and consider the contest between the Prophet Elijah and the false prophets of Baal (I Kings 18), discussing the reasons why the Prophet chose that place for the contest, and the lessons we learn from the story. Depart for Nazareth.

  • Visit Caesarea Maritima, a magnificent city with Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader ruins. Here we will elaborate on the story of the baptism of Cornelius, the first gentile convert into Christianity (Acts 10), and on the travels of Paul — those events that led Caesarea Maritima to become the springboard of Christianity to the West.

  • Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee. 

Day 6, Apr 20, 2023 (Thursday):  Magdala – Beit She’an – Bet Arabah – Jericho  – Jerusalem

  • After breakfast and check-out. We visit Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene including the 1st-century Synagogue, the oldest Synagogue discovered on the shores of Galilee with a stone carved model of the Temple, We will leave the Galilee area and travel south through the Jordan River Valley.

  • Visit Beit She’an, the capital of Decapolis. There we will see the ruins of the Roman and Byzantine cities. We will also discuss the demise of King Saul and his sons, whose bodies were hanged on the walls of Beit Shean.

  • We drive to Bet Arabah “Qasr el Yahud” known also as Gilgal, where the Israelites crossed into the promised land, from where Elijah was taken to heaven and at where Our Lord was baptized.

  • Visit Tel Jericho, Where we will see the location of the city from the town of Joshua, and view the Mount of Temptation. Then, enjoy a panoramic tour of Jericho. Drive towards Jerusalem.

  • We stop to view the St. George Monastery which is an active monastery since the 5th century.

  • Arriving in Jerusalem, Welcome to the Holy City. Check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 7, Apr 21, 2023 (Friday): Pools of Bethesda – Mt. Olives – Mt. Zion – Israel Museum – Bethlehem 

  • Visit the Church of St. Anne’s, a perfectly intact Crusader church. It is a wonderful place to gather and sing a song (sometimes with fellow Christians from all over the world). There, we will also visit the Pools of Bethesda where the healing of the pool took place (John 5).

  • We then travel to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of Jerusalem and a panoramic photo. Our guide will point out the most important sites in Jerusalem, then we will walk the Palm Sunday Road.

  • Then, visit the Cenacle, which commemorates the Upper Room in which Jesus shared the Last Supper with the disciples. Also, see King David’s Tomb, a site that is considered to be the place of burial of a biblical king.

  • Drive to Israel Museum. Visit the Shrine of the Book, housing some of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered at Qumran, and see a Model City of Jerusalem showing the city as it looked in the 1st century A.D.

  • Depart for Shepherd’s Field. Visit Shepherd’s Field where the angels appeared to the shepherds and announced the birth of Our Lord. These fields are also the setting of the Book of Ruth. Leave Shepherd’s Field and drive towards the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem.

  • In Bethlehem, visit the Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity built over the Cave of Christ’s Birth, we will view the actual place where Our Lord was born. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 8, Apr 22, 2023 (Saturday):  Kidron Valley –  House of Caiaphas – Wailing Wall – Garden Tomb

  • After breakfast, start our day by visiting the Garden of Gethsemane where amid the 2000 years old olive trees and cave where Jesus often spent his nights and where he was arrested at the hands of the High Priest's guards. There we will pause for prayer time in a private garden.

  • Later on, we will walk along the Kidron Valley following the footsteps of Our Lord, seeing Absalom Tomb, Gihon Spring, and Water Gate. We reach the remains of the Pool of Siloam, accidentally discovered about ten years ago, which is the place where Jesus instructed the blind man to wash the mud off his eyes.

  • We proceed to visit the House of Caiaphas, the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, where we can see parts of the streets that Our Lord was dragged on by his capturers. We will have a chance to visit and pray at the dungeon where He was kept overnight.

  • On to the Old City, where we reach Ecce Homo, the site named for Pontius Pilat's words “Behold the man”, where Jesus was beaten, crowned with thorns, and clothed in a purple robe. We see the Stone Pavement called Lithostratos and have some time for prayers and meditations.

  • We walk the Via Dolorosa following Christ's passion toward the church of the Holy Sepulchre.

  • In the afternoon, we visit Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we can remember Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. We see the Calvary and the empty Tomb. Celebrate communion service at the Garden reaching the climax of Pilgrimage at the empty Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 9, Apr 23, 2023 (Sunday): Temple Mount – Allenby Bridge – Petra                                                                                                                                                                           

  • After breakfast, visit Temple Mount where the Jewish temple stood until its destruction in 70 A.D. Here we reflect on Jesus’ ministry at the Temple of Jerusalem, seeing the Dome of the Rock, a possible location of the Holy of Holies.

  • We will drive to the border of Jordan.

  • We continue towards Petra, stopping to experience a traditional Bedouin dinner. Overnight in Petra. 

Day 10, Apr 24,(Tusday) Petra Tour – Amman

  • We will visit the site of Petra. It is a 2000-year-old Nabatean city that was highlighted in the movie “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”. We will walk through the narrow passageway up to the Treasury, which is a massive Royal Tomb carved out of solid rock. 

  • In the afternoon, we continue on to Amman to our hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Day 11, Apr 25, 2023 (Tuesday): Amman – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Jerash – Amman

  • After breakfast, we will visit Mt. Nebo, where the prophet Mousa (Moses) gazed over the Promised Land before he died with overlook views of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

  • Visit Medaba, famous for its 6th century AD Byzantine Mosaic, showing the map of the Holy Land with visible sights like Jerusalem, parts of the Dead Sea, River Jordan amid other Biblical sites.

  • We will explore Jerash, which is north of the capital city of Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it is known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa, which is one of the cities of Decapolis. These ruins include the 2nd century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian Columns of the Temple of Artemis, and the huge Forum’s Oval Colonnade. 

  • Back to our hotel for dinner and overnight in Amman. 


Day 12, Apr 26, 2023 (Wednesday): Departure 

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our flight back to the USA.
